The Palette wells


For every palette well contained in the Palette window you define:

Names

The name of a palette well is simply a textual name that you can define for each palette well in the Palette window.

The name is used throughout all palette wells in that position in the Palette window, for all the palettes defined for the color model.

Attributes

There are three possible attributes that can be defined for a palette well:

There are three types of palette well that can be defined:

You specify the width over which the two colors are blended.

The same palette well can have different types in different palettes, but can't have different attributes. For example, an ink only palette well could be a color in one palette, a blend in another and a line thickening in a third.
